TASC was asked to assist a global leader in the field of HDPE industrial products in designing a multi-year growth plan for several subsidiaries worldwide. The local companies showed varying and volatile performance, and the global HQ set an objective of fast growth and streamlined operations given rapidly changing market dynamics.
Process
Our team performed an in-depth market analysis that included the company’s performance and internal capabilities, customer survey, market-trends analysis and competitive-landscape review. The fact-based overview assisted in creating a list of potential growth alternatives which, after a joint discussion with senior management to determine prioritization, turned into a short-list of detailed, feasible initiatives. In the final phase, we worked with local management to develop an execution plan (roadmap) and business forecast, outlining expected impact on financial performance and risks that require mitigation.
Project Outcome & Impact
The overall strategic plan was approved and adopted by both local and global management and a few of the initiatives already have been implemented. The companies are showing significant improvement in terms of growth and profitability.
