Dilemma

TASC was asked by a local leader in the global chemical industry to assist with the business development of a possible market-changing, new product while still in the market-intro phase. 

Process

We adopted a PMF approach to (a) identify and assess possible applications of the new product/technology in various industries and client segments; (b) address potential clients’ pain points and expectations and estimate potential economic benefit through WTP (Willingness to Pay); and (c) create an initial go-to-market plan based on our knowledge and understanding of the respective industries’ value chain and, specifically, relevant decision makers in relation to the specific product.

Project Outcome & Impact

The company is moving forward with development and market introduction of the new product based on our mutual findings and recommendations, and the TASC team is assisting with the ongoing effort
