Mapping the Israeli healthcare industry to identify investment opportunities
- Business Dilemma:
TASC assisted a large national purchasing organization in identifying investment opportunities in the Israeli healthcare sector that improve the quality of life in rural regions and have significant economic potential for the company.
- Process:
Our team analyzed the characteristics of the population in rural regions and their health needs by conducting interviews, reviewing public documents, and utilizing internal knowledge. Additionally, our team conducted an in-depth analysis of the alternatives and an initial assessment of the size of investment needed for each alternative, presenting the client with Go/No-Go recommendations.
- Strategic solution & impact:
We broke the Israeli healthcare industry into seven groups (digital health, hospital, at home, dental, healthcare chains, chronic, and geriatric care) and provided an in-depth analysis of each, as well as a Go/No-Go recommendation, and a list of follow-up steps for entering one or more of the recommended areas.
