Assisting a top-tier media group in establishing a new, digital video platform
  • Business Dilemma:
    The Israeli broadcast market was experiencing eroding profitability and a media group sought to maintain its position as a leading content and marketing company. TASC was asked to develop an alternative platform for its customers, focusing on a “new-media” portal.
  • Process:
    TASC’s team analyzed international trends in the global advertising market and assessed relevant conclusions for the Israeli media eco-system, focusing on the growing relevance of over-the-top (OTT) video-based content, as well as investigating other platforms and commercial alternatives. Next, the team mapped the pros and cons of each alternative and their financial and economic implications. Finally, TASC recommended an alternative and developed a compatible business plan for execution.
  • Strategic solution & impact:
    TASC’s recommended business plan was fully adopted by the board and a new media initiative was launched, which later became Israel’s leading video platform.
